David S. “Sam” Hughart named Member
Ray, Winton & Kelley, PLLC, one of the oldest continually existing law firms in Charleston, announced today that David S. “Sam” Hughart has become a Member of the firm, effective January 1, 2017.
Hughart joined the firm as an associate in 2011. He is a graduate from West Virginia University and a 2009 graduate of the Appalachian School of Law. In law school, Hughart served as the President of the ASL Sober Drivers. Sam was also employed by Thomson-Reuters as a Westlaw student representative for his law school.
Since joining Ray, Winton & Kelley, Hughart has practiced law in a number of fields, but concentrates in domestic relations, collections, estate planning and administration, and litigation. In December 2013, Hughart received the “Guardian Angel” award from the Kanawha County Family Court Bench/Bar Committee for outstanding service as a guardian ad litem representing the interests of children in family court cases.
